How to move from “blah” to thriving

If you’ve been feeling a bit blah lately, you’re not alone. Research shows the COVID pandemic is taking took a toll on our overall well-being and leaving many of us feeling drained. Organisational Psychologist, Adam Grant says languishing, “the neglected middle child of mental health”, can dull your motivation and focus and may be the dominant emotion of 2021. When you’re languishing you’re not mentally ill, nor are you mentally healthy, you’re existing in this in-between state. Here are seven simple tips to help you get from languishing to thriving again.
